Creativity for wellbeing
The content is designed to support your wellbeing, encouraging you to spend some time each day immersing yourself in creative activities to help you relax and unwind from day-to-day life.
Research shows that active engagement with the arts (including visual, music, cooking, sports and gardening) can improve your health and wellbeing.
There is a combination of written, audio and video tutorials that you can access at any time you feel you need to take 5-30 minutes to unwind. You are invited to stay for as long as you need and repeat activities as you feel fit.
New content will be added regularly but there is nothing to stop you repeating an activity that you enjoy or that works for you. The joy of the creative prompts is that you are in control, and you can amend and change what you create as many times as you like! Repeating activities is a good way to help you develop a creative idea.
There are motivational messages to keep you going and facts and findings from Creative Health: The Arts for Health and Wellbeing report, to inform and inspire you on how you can take care of your mental health and wellbeing in other creative ways.
Engaging in meaningful, mindful creative activities can put you in a state of flow which can lead to creativity, productivity and general wellbeing.
